The PAC Tours I am familiar with seek to cross the continent in about 3 weeks running 140+ miles per day. Do they offer something at 1/3 to 1/4 that distance? At 40-60 miles per day, you're talking about traditional touring companies, of which there are many. Backroads, Vermont Bicycle Touring, and on and on. If you have listed your distances correctly, and want to pay $200 or so per day, these companies are what you are seeking.

I would love to do it, if I had the time. There are some shorter versions, too, and I think you can do it part of the way and prorate the cost. You can probably handle more mileage than you think.
