hooking up with Riis is the best thing for him...Djudd

he is great rider who needs a strong familiar hand. Riis nursed him through his TdF win (after giving up his own ambition for two). Get him with Bjarne.

Now the TDF will be a real race. I think Jan will be highly motivated with a new team. CSC Tiscali would be great for Jan, but lousy for Tyler Hamilton. Tyler would go from the #1 GC leader to #2. But Jan's move will be good for the sport.
Sucks for TylerIan

I am a huge Tyler fan, so I can't say I am to happy. I do think the other posts are correct though, Jan will probably thrive in a new environment.

I just hope CSC lets Tyler have another crack at the Giro GC.

Good for Tylermr_spin

Tyler will still be top dog at the Giro, and now he has Ullrich to help him.
great point...Ullrich wants the Tdf and...Djudd

will make a super-domestique for Tyler in the Giro (ever see his lead-outs for Zabel... wow!!!) A motivated Ullrich will heat up the season for all.
doesn't suck for Tylerweiwentg

how high could Tyler go at the Tour? I think he could podium, with luck and training. But he has a real shot at winning the Giro outright. and then, he can go and help Jan. I think mr_spin called it.
Lance will have to worry. I still think he can beat Jan, but not without a fight.
GREAT! Does he need to be CLOSER to Amsterdam?(nm)merckx56

Huh? Denmark is further from Amsterdam than Germany...chopper

You do know that Amsterdam is in The Netherlands and the language spoken is Dutch and that Danes are from Denmark and speak Danish.......

I think he was referring to the fact that recreational drugs
are easily available in Amsterdam. Not something Jan should
be any closer to - it's obvious that the guy needs a little
"adult supervision" or he goes off a bit.
exactly! it was a joke, not a geography lesson!(nm)merckx56
