I found a product that will remove light scratches from Plastics and will clean and polish it too: Meguiar's Mirror Glaze 17 (the car polish people)...My sunglasses had a deep gouge across the whole right lens from being in the car seat and it was either try the product or pitch the glasses (the gouge was directly across the front of my pupil.... 'Murphy's Law'). The gouge is gone and they look better than new. Test your plastic for being color-coated, otherwise you may make it worse....I had nothing to lose.(It also removed the scratches from the cheap watch that I wear biking.....)about $6/8oz bottle.
