Hi, my colleague is getting a new bike that comes with Wellgo WPD-R4 pedals and i am thinking about getting them since i am looking for a pair of spdr pedals. Can anyone tell me anything about these pedals. I cannot find any reviews and also cannot find Wellgo's website....Are they any good?
Thanks a lot.

I grabbed a pair to replace some Ritchey road SPD's. I was getting some hot spots on longer rides, and found the little pedals hard to get into.
Unfortunately, the Wellgo's were as difficult to get into, due to the thinness of the front cleat hook. I kept having trouble getting the cleat and hook lined up, though clipping in and out from that point was smooth and easy, and I never released accidentally.
I did like that the cleats were Look compatible, instead of requiring a new drilling, but messing around during race starts is no fun.
I replaced them with Looks, and they're great.
