Help with Euro bib sizing question...MVN
Sep 21, 2002 9:10 PM
I just got a 2002 Lotto jersey from bikejerseys.com. It fits great. Their sizing chart says a size 7 bib is for a 41"-44" waist (I'm a 38), and a 6 is for a 38"-40" waist. The chart on ProBikeKit.com's site says a 7/XXXL is for 36"-38" waist. Hank's chart specifically says "for Nalini bibs", whereas the other doesn't. I'm not sure which size to order. Can someone help me out? I was going to order Lotto bibs from LaBicicletta but the only size they had was a 7, which I thought was a 41-44 waist. I ended up not ordering them because I was unsure about the sizing. What is the true American equivalent of a size 6 and 7 euro cut bib short? Which chart is correct? My measurements (if it helps) are 5'10", 195, 42" chest, 38" waist. Thanks in advance.
Hank's chart also goes by weight and NaliniLone Gunman

runs slightly smaller (1/2 size at most) than Santini, not enough to make a big difference. Stick with Hank, he has it right for fit on euro kit.
I am 6'1" 195 or so and fit Nalini size 6 tops and bibsMaartin

My waist is 35" and the size 6 are a little loose. They bag in the back. I thinks that the sizes change slightly from year to year and it is a crap shoot....good luck

It's all pretty random, even between shirts from the same maker.

I have things that fit the same sized 6,7,8, XL,XXL,XXXL. on top of that my old waterproof jacket was a M, and my new replacement is an XXL - it's a fraction bigger.

As far as I am aware, there is no "standard" whatsoever.
