Maybe I got some attention there...My last bike was a japanese bianchi I bot in the early 90's with shimano 105 stuff...I never really did like it ...bit harsh. After reading this site for a few days one thing really pops out at me ...used bikes seem to be a great value...With that in mind I'm looking for recommendations... I'm a bit older now (nearing 40) and never was flexible... I'm 5'10" 180 lb. with a shortish legs and like an uprightish position...any suggestions. I am looking at an old specialized epic for little cash and wonder if it's a good choice...always did like steel though ...your help appreciated

Oh yeah I also have a kayak setup I would be interested in trading for a bike in the Stamford, CT. area... description of outfit below...bizarre post I know

I’m selling/trading my Sea-Kayaking setup heres what it includes: Perception Carolina Kayak -
barely used, Harmony Sprayskirt, Lotus design vest, beautiful “small boat shop” wooden 2 piece paddle w/ carbon fibre connection, compact anchor and line, rod holder, wilderness systems bilge pump, 2 harmony flotation bags for front and rear compartments, harmony paddle float, hanging rack system for 2 kayaks for your garage, soft racks/straps for car so you can take it away, A pair of chota waterproof boots size 9 mens but are more like 10’s, a book and a video on the subject. This is really everything needed I think – over 1400 spent…best offer will consider road bicycle as trade/partial trade
