I was looking for a non-hollowgram caad7 frame. Cannondale says they've been shipping them since June. One lbs says it will order one, maybe it will come in sometime. Two other lbs say no way until after December. With a 3.0 frame trade-in I was looking at about $1,020. I got the message they didn't want to sell a frame.
So I gave up and bought a caad5 from Gary Hobbs, GVH Bikes. I'll trade my 3.0 frame on the next one, I guess. I expect it in next week. So far Gary has been great. I hope the delivery is as good as the transaction so far.

Sep 15, 2002 7:13 AM | | If you're not set on the CAAD 7 I would consider the CAAD 5 deal from GVHBikes.com, Gary is great- quick on the phone, answers any questions, and ships the next day. I had a great experience working with him. Keep in mind that you also get a Campy hidden head set with the frame- it really is a damn good deal. He'll install a BB free if you buy it through him too
