there is nothing better to fuel a long ride than smushed PB&J and bananas. Several of each my secreted in pockets and lumbar packs make for a sweet ride. Add to that PB&J tastes good unlike that vile- tasting, overly-sweet gruel GU and its' various bastard offspring. The ritual of making the sandwiches prepares me mentally for the ride and knowing that I will partake at the top makes a long climb not a chore. Let's hear it for the PB&J and the good old "nanas
I'll second that!!!! (nm)theBreeze

Sounds good and a lot cheaper than Cliff Bars. Do you just jam them in a baggy?
I cut them into quarters, two per sandwich bag.. nmDjudd

pulling up to a SAG stop on an organized ride and finding a volunteer eager with a large tub of creamy PB and halved bananas. a generous smattering of PB on a 'nanner and i'm good to go for another 20 miles. the last event ride i attended with such cuisine found me gaining weight that weekend. :)
