I have a choice between the fugi profesional with almost all durace, carbon seatstays, aluminum frame, and good ritchey parts. or the new giant carbon bike with a full ultegra group. I am 6'4 and 185 lb so a sturdy bike is important. does anybody have any suggestion, I'm clueless which to get.
Was going to respond with Merak, but you weigh too much (nm)onespeed

I would go with the full carbon. With the aluminum bike the carbon seatstays allow a lot of flex in the Alum chainstays. This improves the ride but especially with a heavy power type rider the setup is vulnerable to a fatigue failure. I have seen them.
