I barely even saw it as it came up the street on the top of a Jeep Cherokee. It seemed to levitate above the other cars, and then sped past me. Too bad the driver didnt get caught at the light, so I could ogle it more than a few brief seconds.

I think it would have caught anyone's eye though.

Found the website and researched the brand for as long I could find new info. Not too much on them even here, but they look damned nice and have an impressive pedigree of riders and recordholders that ride them.

And they make a track bike version that is the coolest thing I have ever seen.

I've seen the track frame. It is beautiful. $5500 for frame and fork is a little too much for my next single speed project.
I rode with a guy that was riding one in the LAF RftR in 99Lone Gunman

Short heavy guy riding a red Corima. First and only time I had ever seen one. He and I called it quits at the 65 mile rest stop, too hot and the route was about to go bad according to the rest stop folk. The following year I am out on the RftR course and I saw the same bike and rider. Imagine that, one year, 6000 riders, and I ran across the guy. Of course I had to remind him that he, I, and a couple on a tandem called it a day together. Then he remembered.
Are you kidding? $5500?Alex-in-Evanston

That's the new king of overpriced bike goods. You could buy 7 Record carbon cranks for that price. I mean, come on.

Ok, I exaggerated. It's $5494.98 plus shippingDave Hickey

But why somebody would spend $5500 on a track frame is beyond me. Hell, there's a crash every other week.

Justification is you are buying Art not hardwareMaartin

Art costs alot but pleases the soul.
Pretty cool being able to ride your art also. (nm)onespeed

the price is rediculous. Youd think with all the monoque carbon frames around now they could come up with some similarly cool designs for a reasonable price. that one looks about as aero as could be.
