|I'll be in Toronto next week, but without my bike. We will be staying on Yonge, not too far from Harbourfront. I need to find a place to rent either 1 road bike, and/or maybe a couple hybrid-style bikes for a few hours. Any suggestions?|

|There is a bike rental stand just 50 yards North of Queens Quay. I think it's on Bay but it could be on Yonge. It's an open air thing with a selection of Mountain Bikes based on my drive by assessment. From here you have access to Don Valley, Humber Valley and Leslie Street Spit bike paths. I like the Spit for the feeling of escaping the City while still being able to admire the skyline view. It can be very windy which is refreshing, almost like sailing.
You might try contacting the Toronto Bicycling network for better info on rentals. http://tbn.on.ca/0001index.html

|I'm fairly sure that you can also rent bikes by the hour from an outdoor store called "Europe Bound". It is located on Front St. about 1.5 blocks east of Yonge St on the south side of the street.
Enjoy the big smoke "Toronto" while you are here!
