I've read complaints about Saddlesore.co.uk on this forum before. I wondered if people's experiences had changed. I ordered a couple of tyres from their website over two weeks ago and even though they very efficiently charged my credit card, I have still not recieved the items. I've sent them several emails and got no reply, and tried phoning them, but got no response. I live in England, it shouldn't take this long! Why is their PR so bad - i.e. why can't they just send an email or pick up the phone! I am assuming that the items were out of stock and they've had top order them in - but couldn't they have just told me that!? And waited to charge my card!?

yours,

Rich.

I bought some tires and a Campy Ti/St cassette from these freaks. They never answered my emails and I waited so long that I paid bust out retail from Colorado Cyclist. So my cassette arrived from Colorado and two days later the cassette from England arrived.

A simple 10 second email would have been all I needed. I would have been happy to wait if I knew they had sent out the items.

My advice is to stay away. You want to run an e-commerce business, you gotta answer emails.

I've ordered from them on three seperate occaisons. Always got my order within 10 days. They answered my email concerning a product I had yet ordered but, they never answered my email about when I could expect my order to arrive. If I were going to base my online purchasing decision on whether or not the shop answers email in a prompt manner then afraid to say I would have to take Saddlesore off my list. But then on the other hand they've always delivered on my orders.

If you can, you should direct your credit card issuer to stop payment for non shipment and move on.
Very good experience w/Saddlesore ..nm..pben

times puss filled lesions that are neither fun or cool - and certainly doesn't make me want go out and spend money on the cause of these "said" lesions - well, you get the gist here...
