Does anyone know the width of the Genius4's?. I see that there are MEGA models for those with wider feet, but they neglect to mention what Sidi considers "wider". So for those of you that have the Genius 4s, what width foot/shoe do you have and how do you like it?.

Thanks.

I wear the size 46 Megas (which correspond to my normal 12 EEEEs) and I love them. The Mega concept makes for the first biking shoes that I can put on and forget about. They just disappear beneath you, which is the sure sign that something is working perfectly.

The regular G4 width corresponds with "Medium B width" and the Mega models are "Wide D width". Usually with Sidi you have to get 1 size larger than you regularly wear. For instance my feet are size 46 with a width of 4 4/16" and I always require size 47 Sidi shoes in their normal width.

I use Sidi shoes both for Road and MTB riding. The G4 fit is very comfy and comes with a great sole. It's nice and stiff but not rock hard so you don't even feel where you feet are anymore. Can't say much about durability yet as they're quite new. However, if they're anything like my Dominator 2 MTB shoes (material detail and workmanship of the G4 is just as nice) they should last a long time.

I tried about five different shoes, including Sidi megas, before trying the "regular width" Sidi Genius 4. Finally, I can ride without constantly battling hot spots or numbness. I was concerned because of stories I heard, that the regular width would be too narrow, but I wear a 11 1/2 D and the 46 Sidis fit great.

I wear 10.5 2E to 3E in US sizing and the Sidi G4 Mega in a 45 are a perfect fit.

The standard shoe is based on a "D" width. The narrow shoe is based on a "B/C" width. The Mega is based on a "EE" width.

Thanks for all the replies, they were a huge help in my decision. I have a "D" width foot and I now know I need the standard width.
