Other than weight difference is there much difference between an SLR and SLR XP in terms of comfort and feel?
Any feedback appreciated.

I only have experience with the SLR. I can tell you I went from using Flites and Trans Alps, which I liked, to a Selle Trans Am, I liked it quite a bit too! I've been on the SLR for about three months now and really like it as well. I think since they are all the same basic shape, and that shape fits me well, I find them all comfortable. My rear did require a little break in time to get used to the SLR. I hope this helps.
XP = Xtra Padding = more comfort = slightly more weight. nm.divve

The SLR XP has around twice the padding (using my calibrated thumb) and makes all the difference after about two hours in the saddle. I've put 4K miles on the SLR XP and I'll buy it again when the time comes. For a minimulist saddle it really performs well on long rides and is worth the extra 30-40g.

Cheers

Take a look at the SLR TA. 165gm actual

I had an SLR XP and thought it sucked so bad I dumped it after one ride. IMHO, a very uncomfy saddle.
