Haven't seen any discussion or reviews on the New Sram R9 9 peed shimano compatiable cassettes. I just got my 2 today that I ordered (1) 12-23 (1) 12-26 couple of things I have noticed you can't get a 11, 12 is the smallest also they are one piece all the cogs are attached not seperate or in cluster like Shimano. Another thing I wonder about the spacers are not metal but a bright orange plastic composite type material. The cassette indeed feels lighter than the Ultegra. Going to throw the 12-23 on tonight I will post a Review under the Review section in a week or so after I have some miles.

Just curious about why you are trying the SRAM instead of another Shimano cassette?

I also just got a 12-26 SRAM cassette that I have not installed yet. I wanted a 12-26 since I could not get a 12-27 to work with a new Dura Ace deraileur that is only rated for 26T. Everyone (except Shimano) says that a 27 should work, but it just will not do so without hitting the upper pulley no matter how far I turn that B-tension screw.
