Ksyrium SSC (old) vs. Ksyrium SSC SL (new)Fez

Any differences good or bad? I read about the newer hub and different rim material, but does it translate to anything substantial?

Visually, the only difference I could see was the concave machined area between the spokes on the inside of the rim for the new model, while the old model was smoother and all black.

I've been riding a set of each and the only difference worth noting is that the SLs weigh about seventy grams less.... No problems either set.

Personally, I'd go with the old K's. You can get them for $200-$300 less and the weight difference is minimal. I have had a set for 2.5 years, ridden them everywhere over all kinds of roads and never had to do so much as adjust a spoke. They're bullet proof wheels.
