|Any differences good or bad? I read about the newer hub and different rim material, but does it translate to anything substantial?
Visually, the only difference I could see was the concave machined area between the spokes on the inside of the rim for the new model, while the old model was smoother and all black.

|I've been riding a set of each and the only difference worth noting is that the SLs weigh about seventy grams less.... No problems either set.|

|Personally, I'd go with the old K's. You can get them for $200-$300 less and the weight difference is minimal. I have had a set for 2.5 years, ridden them everywhere over all kinds of roads and never had to do so much as adjust a spoke. They're bullet proof wheels.|| |
