Cross over gear, great pieceLone Gunman

I have been steered by Humma Hah to a great piece of crossover gear. To the uninitiated, crossover gear is something not intended for cycling but works great in the application and therefore does not cost 300% more because it is a piece of bike specific gear.

Found at Walmart, a long sleeved Drifit undershirt that is as smooth as silk and comes in a variety of colors. Converts your shortsleeve jersey into a fall ride jersey. The only catch is they run big, I bought a small and normally wear a med to large jersey, XL in Euro sizes I am about a 39" chest. $10!! You could cut the sleeves off if you live in the warm clims and beat a Defeet undyshirt by $15. I am impressed with the quality of these shirts, also it can keep the sun off your arms, the sleeves are nice and long.

I live in San Francisco and use various levels of undershirts year around.
Riding in the summer at the ocean or Presidio Nat'l Park can numb you to the bone, especially in the early AM.

I've had luck shopping at
They have some cycling gear that every now and then is a good buy but I've mainly brought their long johns in various weights.

I've done the same. You need to order their stuff when you see it, otherwise, it's GONE.

Check out the aerobic area and outdoor activities section. Got some coolmax T's in the hunting section, I think. You just have to surf around.

Not sure which store you are speaking of but at Walmart I find them in the Men's clothing where the athletic wear was located. I bought 4 of them but as far as colors go I saw black white red darkblue, carolinablue, lightgreen, yellow.
Great idea. But does it make you a cross dresser? (nm)Look381i
