Crashed hard mt. biking on Friday, bruised my right hand and leg. Could barely walk till Sunday. Perfect weather all weekend, a TON of stuff going on in Denver that I had to skip. Still limping badly and can't ride or train for a tri this weekend :-( Probably going to have to skip it and be out the entry fee.

Didn't turn out like I had planned either, which was to ride all 3 days. Saturday my son had his pre-season 110lb football game which took all day. We arrived during the 85's and while he went to meet with his team and hang, I watched that and the 95's game. All I thought about as I sat there for 2+ hours was that I should have brought my bike! My son would never have missed me before his team took the field. Next time.
Sunday my regular ride was rained out so I cleaned and did laundry. Yippie...oh and I checked this board alot!
Monday dawned overcast/drizzly and chilly. I decided I'd wait till the sun came out. Looked good around 5pm,(later than I usually ride), so I pulled the Cannondale out of the garage and never saw sight of the sun again. Oh well!
Only 19 miles but lots of hills. I was surprised at how dark it got! Will have to think about lights or reflectors soon...
I always feel better after a ride.
