Savannah Century report. He survives!Elefantino

For those of you who didn't make this year's Historic Savannah Century, the first 35 miles of which were in the rain and into a northerly headwind, boy did you miss a whole lot of fun.

Nevertheless, Team Jacksonville survived and the Serotta carried yours truly the whole 101.31 miles in fine and relatively speedy fashion. I did flat shortly before Rest Stop 4, but other than that no incidents.

I will post photos as soon as I find where I packed the digital camera and develop the ones I shot with the throwaway.

FWIW,
Mike

PS: Come to Jacksonville this weekend if you're interested in another century. It's the "Endless Summer Watermelon Ride" and I will be driving one of the sag wagons.
