Anybody use Nalini bibs?...if so, what about the seam...MVN

in the chamois? The pic I've seen shows it down the middle. Any one have any problems with that? I've tried two pair of the new Performance bibs and I just don't like them as much as the ones with the old Y-pad chamois. I'm sending back the second pair tomorrow. The first pair felt too big and was really loose. Sent them back and got another pair - same deal. They are cut differently now for some reason in addition to the pad being not as comfortable. Anyway, what about the Nalini's? Or should I spend the bucks and go for PI's or Castelli's? Thanks in advance.

I don't have any prob with the center seam, but then I ride a Brooks saddle. You see the fit of shorts/bibs is as subjective as seat choice. The Nalini shorts I have are the best I own and I will be buying more of them soon. An equal value in shorts w/o the center seam in the pad is the Santini bibs. Nalini seems to be a bit heavier lycra fabric or it could be a differnt weave of the fabric.

and prefer the Nalini's. Material is more substantial, both the lycra, the chamois and the pad. As for the seam, you see it but I don't feel it so there've been no issues.
I also have both and prefer the Nalinisdzrider

At first I liked the Santinis because the straps worked better off the bike but they have not held up as well as the Nalinis. I got a second pair of Nalinis and they're doing fine also. I have no problem with the seam and the width of the chamois is perfect for me.
