|Going to Montreal for a few days...never been there...any ideas of interesting things to do/ see in or out of the city? Would love to see the countryside, if they have one. Leaving Monday a.m.|

|Will you be alone or with a spouse? If the weather turns sour you can always go to the underground city. A stroll around Old Montreal is a must too.
Cycling related: Cycles Marinoni is less than an hour away by car. I was treated exceptionally well when I stopped in.
You still have time to do what we did. Stop in a Barnes and Noble and browse through a tour guide to customize your itinerary.

|Hey make sure you take a walk from Lafontaine Park to the streets noth; it's the Plateau, real nice neighborhood! You'll get a feel of what it is like to live in this fantastic city.
Museum of Fine Arts (Sherbrooke Street) is splendid.
Visit the Olympic Stadium because you'll have the chance to stroll throught the biodome (re-creation of different environments on earth, very well done) ans also the botanical garden is right next to it.
Have a picknic on top of Mount Royal, see where I train every other day!
Everything is easier by metro, btw.
Enjoy Sushi at Wakamono on MountRoyal Sreet, Visit Gervais Rioux bike Shop (St-Laurent street)
Get some quebec designer cloths and jewels on St-Denis street
Have a home brew in almost any pub/bar!
But most of all, get a decent poutine; fries with cheese curds and sauce!
Man! was I not leaving for Paris tomorrow, I would've taken you for a tour!
I'm on holiday!!!!!!! Yahooooo
Enjoy yourself and don't be shy with the frenchies! No point going to Montreal if you avoid talking to someone!
