|Hi I am sure everyone remembers the "OLD!!" bike I was asking about the other day. One question was not answerd. Can I race with this bike? "Keep in mind I dont care about winning justa having fun racing" Would it even be alowd to enter a race? Sorry if these questions sound dumb|

|then go for it. Hell, if it is a Huffy special, go for it. All I know is if I ever see anyone riding some pos department store bike at any group ride or race, I am going to personally go to that person and say to the person that they are a true badass and have earned my respect and admiration for riding that bike for the pure thrill of riding the bike...otherwise, I am going to stay the hell clear of this said person during the race/ride.|

|1. I'm sure it's legal to race
2. Win the race! It is more fun to beat the field on a POS bike than it is on a "respectable" bike. You will be THE MAN if you can pull it off. If nothing else, attack off the front and try to stay away. Nobody will expect it!

|Now my next question. Are there any races in the N California area? I would not want to travel to far to race. I live near Sacremento|

|Just kidding, of course.
There's a ton of racing. You just have to find it. Check with your local bike shop, or check out the throwaway "magazine" called Cycle California.
