On my LOOK, I use white so I change it every 6 weeks. My Bianchi is red/black marble and I'll change it once a year.

My Bianchi has celeste tape. I change it when it starts to discolour, and look like my Chamois after either a a) scary descent, b) run in with a driver that is uglier and scarier that I or c) I had a big curry the Saturday night before my long Sunday ride.

I should really re-think my weekly curry ;o)

almost never unless you get sick of it. I had a dark grey tape that probably was on for 5 years, but I generally ride in clear weather and keep the bike indoors.

When I didn't wear gloves and had white tape, it looked like it was ready to change after 3 weeks.
