I was there last year and saw many roadies in Central Park but its impossible to really hammer or get a paceline going. It would be suicidal with so many runners, casual bike riders and cars.

you should try riding along the Hudson on the Hudson river park MUT. So packed with dog walkers and old ladies walking 5 across that it makes the park look like a ride out west.

Can't anyone get the concept of stay to the right or bike paths are for bikes, not pedestrians.

all the unleashed dogs on NYC MUT's. Just as bad are the dogs on a 9' wide trail with 12' leashes. 2 months ago one ran right in front of me and sent me over the bars. I thought nyc dog owners loved their dogs more than that :) is it as bad on your side of the river Rev?
