quick question for nyc riders...daneil

I was up around central park last night around 7 and it looked like the roads were closed to cars. Lots of bikes and runners on the road. i'm just wondering when and where the park is closed to traffic. I know it's all closed on the weekends, but are the inner roads closed all week, or just after a certain time? Thanks alot.

I don't really know the rules, but it seems closed for about 1.5 hours every night, from around 7 to maybe 8:30.

Petty much open to rush hour traffic. Some creeps sneak in after 7 but don't let them speed over you or intimidate you by honking their horns. Hold your ground and make 'em go slow. Unless their undercover cops or something. ; )

The Transportation Alternatives website has information on how you can do more to ban private cars altogether.
