I need advice on the Mavic KSYRIUM SSL rear wheel.
My free wheel body is so tight that the crank arms go around when I push my bike or if it is in the work stand all I have to do is move the rear wheel and the crank arms turn too!!!!
The pawls in the free hub are almost silent now. These wheels only have 3000 miles on them. Can this be simply fixed by me??????
If no one has the answer would someone know how to contact Mavic to complain. Going to my LBS is a dead end street. It is like they have to pay for everything out of there pocket!!!!!!
If I have a warranty issue let me know.
I also have the top of the line MTB wheels from Mavic, they are 3 years old now and the rear wheel just started doing the same thing????

I've not had a MAVIC unit apart, but Campy and Shimano can both the disassembled, cleaned, and lubed, so I assume MAVIC can be done too. This is probably what you need to do.
