Derailleur hanger moves when tightening skewer...cabinfever

When I flip the skewer lever to tighten the rear axle, I can watch the rear derailleur hanger move. If I remember correctly, it moves in toward the cassette. Anyone have this happen? I don't notice any problems with my shifting though, probably because the gears are adjusted when the skewer is tightened. Is it just the tension of the skewer doing this?

I'm thinking that your dropout is a little out of alignment. Then, when you tighten your QR, it pulls it back into parallel.

If your shifting is fine, this might be the classic case of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Sounds good to me. nm.cabinfever
