Just thought I would post this, not very
important, but here goes.
For the past few weeks I have been doing a
40mile chain gang ride with a local club full
of elites and cat 1 riders. The line out starts
10 miles from the end, usually between 26-30 mph,
before then we tend to go 19-23 mph. But each time
I have always been dropped at roughly the same spot,
8 miles into the line out. Except today when I
managed to stick with them to the end, and we even
touched 31mph at one point. I rode the rest of the way
home with a big grin on my face. I just hope that I can
do the same next week.

Regards all

its always a good time when you reach the end of the ride with others...instead of being one of the stragglers. I ought to know, I go through periods off and on of each. Sometimes the heart rate stays above 180 too long to keep up with the warp speeders; sometimes I just hang on and enjoy it.
