Aug 20, 2002 7:32 AM | | Basically they generally have a shorter top tube than the comparable model. Sometimes the smallest frame sizes use smaller wheels to avoid toe interference with the front wheel during sharp turns.
In the end, it's how you personally fit on the bike that matters. My personal experience has been that taller women can be fit on standard sizes with minimal adjustments but shorter women generally prefer the gender spacific models. |
