has anybody tried the BCD carbon seatposts?bsenez

I was thinking about getting one, but they are pricey (at $130) although very light (claimed 140g) and the all carbon post is very trick. I was checking out one of their downhill bikes at the mt snow nationals last weekend, and it looked nice. the website is bcdbcd.com
not BCD or carbon, but same weight rangeweiwentg

USE Alien titanium? Bill Larson (who posted on the classifieds) can get you one for about $105. or he can get the USE carbon for the same price (I think). however, they say that the clamp is a PITA, and they are correct.

I have never tried one but I know that it is pretty much a single guy operation. He makes his frames and posts himself and he is a pro downhiller. It seems to be pretty good stuff without a lot of flash.
