Selev Alien helmets, any good?Breakfast

I was looking at a Selev Alien helmet and wondering if anyone is familiar with the product?

This size is supposed to fit a 56cm - 60cm head and my measurment is 58cm so it seems like it would be a good fit without being able to try it on.

Helmet is 250gms. and has 23 vents. Are these helmets popular in Europe?

I have one and love it. It is unique and very well made. I don't think they paid for testing approval in the US, but it has some European approval sticker. I'd say go for it. If is possible you might run into a problem if you use if for racing in the US if you come across an anal-retentive "inspector."

I like mine and have had it for around 4 months. Got it from www.probikekit and was happy with the $. Fit is a little weird at first as it seems to ride lower on the forehead than Giro's do. That may just be my head though. Easy to adjust and is very lightweight.

I think the Alien is 212 grams and the Atom is 250?

All in all I really like it.
