Info on Ibis Sonoma...riney

LBS is selling an Ibis Sonoma at a pretty good price. They had good things to say about the bike and builder. Checked out the web site and got some technical info but little else. Its built up w/Ultegra and Velocity for $1500. Any feedback?

Ibis recently went out of business. They were one of the best small California builders. I think that frame retailed for $1000 w/o the fork so I'd say that's a great deal if it fits. I've had a Ibis Mojo (mtb) for 7 years and love it. Fantastic quality--I wouldn't worry about warranty.

It's supposed to be pretty nice, I've checked them out but never had a chance to ride one in my size. A couple years ago the frame and fork combo only sold for about a grand, probably the reason they're selling cheaper is because Ibis recently went out of business. So you'll have a cool bike that not a lot of people have but don't expect any warranty help.
