I'm looking for replacement 'puter for my Record10 setup. The LBS and RBReview virtually condemn the Ergo brain 10...(my LBS won't even sell it), so I'm looking at the Vetta V100 Wireless and w/wireless Cadence..anyone use this setup or know of any pros/cons.....it's about a $130 outfit. (maybe Campy will have the bugs worked out for 2003?, 2004??)
Thanks.

I have used it for just over a year and a half without any problems. I don't have cadence though. After about a year i had to replace battery in transmitter. Just got another one for another bike. Looking at the photos it appears Postal uses the wireless. It wouldn't be a bad choice in my opinion. I have never had any problem with mine. Not one dropout ever, just had the one battery replacement.

I too have read the -ve comments regarding Ergobrain, yet I also have read the +ve!

I have used 9sp Ergobrain, and have not had any problems. A guy I ride with had some issues, yet he did not follow the instructions and therefore did not set it up correctly. I helped him re-set it up, and it works fine - all for the price of a slab of VB!

I am not suggesting that those who expressed -ve comments did not experience them, just suggesting that it is "dangerous" to only listen to the -ve without hearing the +ve.
