the first step in my anticipated victory over WCC begins tonight. Training was delayed for 2 weeks becasue of bronchitis but all is go now. So consider this the first entry of my training journal. Preseason football and indoor trainer is all that needs to be said right now.

WCC "comes to snuff the Rooster, but he ain't gonna die!"

No excuse brother. I was sick. I am better now and just finished an 1:15 ride on the trainer. Mostly in the 70-75% MHR range at 95 cadence. Did some fast spinning but mainly steady. Step #1 has been taken. There will be no reprieve for WCC. It is out of my hands now.

train quietly, let no one know what you are doing and just show up ready to go when the time comes!

That was a troll. I admitted as much 2 weeks ago. This, however, is very much real. I am taking a wholistic approach to training that will overwhelm WCC.
yeah, and this one isn't.(nm)rufus

Post your training progress to the board if that's what really motivates you, but expect to be flamed on a regular basis - not because it's inherently wrong, but just because it's a lame thing to do. Having said that, I'd probably read your posts, not because I really care about your little race, but just to see what kind of silly thing you're going to say next. Morbid curiosity leads me to read more threads than I care to admit.
I hear you on that CJ! nmrwbadley

Isn't it a little late in the season to start training now? I mean, some of us have been
at this since the start of the year.

If you were starting now for NEXT year then I'd be listening more maybe.
