|If you ride a 500km week in the hills with, say, 7000 meters of climbing what do you think that would roughly translate to as kms on the flat? I know they are different physically but a rule of thumb would be interesting.
I ask as I have just spent a week away riding on the flats and it hardly touched me. It was nice to be able to work turns at a high speed, high cadence etc.
By the end of the week I was fatigued but recovery was quicker, overnight almost.
Have you found similar?
