|The Cannondale 2003 R2000 comes with Mavic Ksyrium SL wheelset. Is this the same as Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL? If not, what is the difference. If it is, at $2500 the R2000 will be hard to beat in terms of components. I am looking into purchasing a new bike. Looking at the Trek 5200, Calfee Luna and think I will try the R2000 as well. Also, would these be good every-day use wheels for a 200 pounder?
Thanks for any input

|Yes, I am 99% sure that the Ksyrium SL's are the SSC SL's. I agree about the bang for buck(CAAD7, Ultegra, Ksyrium SL's, DA rear derailleur, 3T Forgie stem & hb, ti railed seat) and have already seen it in the blue but am looking forward to seeing it in the black color option. Like you, I am also considering the 5200...possibly.

|My wife and I have an r2000 and an r4000, both have Mavic Kysriums (SSC). I weigh 200# and have never had a problem with my wheels. My wife has not had problems either. We have had them about one year.|

|A friend has an 02 R2000 with Ksyriums SL SSC. He's 225 or so and has not had any problems. I have more than 8k miles on a set of 01 SSC's without any problems (175lb). The wheels on the 03 R2000 are the SL SSC.|| |
