Anybody done this ride? My first will be this weekend. How tough is it as compared to other hilly centuries.

Check out bikehighway.com-cue route sheet-north carolina-henderson county-hilly hellacious (it's 2001, but the climbs are similar). I've not done it yet, but trained with a friend who is ready to go. From other people's viewpoint, the climbs are steeper, but shorter unlike the Assault on Mt. Mitchell climbs which are gradual and long. Good luck.

I will be there! Remember, there is no day of the race registration. If you did not mail it in you have to go to Cane Creek on Sat. to register. Itis a tough 100 miles with 8000 feet of climbing. I will be rideing with the Cane Creek team on a Trek 5900 with an SRM power meter on. If you see me say hello. I also might be wearing an Asheville Bike Raceing jersey. Have a great time!
