I'll be at Clarksville even though it's really not my favorite ride. My club, Lightning Cycles, is putting it on so I sort of have to go and show the flag.
I was also at the Harpeth River Ride earlier this summer but missed you in the crowd. That is one of my favorite rides and since I live there, it is so cool to be able to roll out of my driveway and the get a motorcycle escort through downtown Franklin. Let me know what you'll be riding so I will be sure it is the genuine Haiku and not just some cheap imitation.

|I will (more like maybe) be at the Columbia, TN (Scenic Middle TN, Natchez Trace, Spring Hill... whatever it's called) century this weekend. I've done it 6 years in a row now.
I missed the Harpeth this year, did it the last 3 years, I think!
If your in the area, come down to Huntsville, AL on 9-14 for our All You Can Eat Century. I might not be able to attend this year (son's soccer coach), but my wife will be doing it for sure.

|here's the rig, with different tires and bar tape. i'll be riding the double, which starts at 1:30, so perhaps i'll see you, if you're slow as molasses and if the EPO i've been using kicks in by then. figure the 200 leaves at 1:30 and the 100 leaves at 7:00, we'll really have to haul tail to make the century start. 20 mph for the first 100 of 200 ain't happening on these legs.

|same situation for me at b'ham, though. i know how fast you go, Mr. x23. b'ham double starts 4 AM, century starts 8 AM, and there just ain't no way that's gonna happen! actually, it's only 75 miles 4-8, so if we don't stop much, there's a good chance. consider some michelob (and strawberry boost) the night before to slow you down. may not run into you 9/7, but will hope to see you 9/29.
but, then again,...
you = climb like motorbike
me = climb like wounded ground sloth
this won't help in dahlonega.

|Well, one of the guys I rode the Natchez Trace with is talking the double at Bham ..., so, I don't know. If I can come up with some lights, I *might* give it a try.
Next month a group of about 5 or 6 of us are riding Bham to the Gulf in two days ..., probably the weekend before Six Gap.
That Merckx is nice!
