This same post is cross referenced in "Hot Deals", but I was thumbing through the new Performance Catalog, and they are selling Easton Carbon Forks for $79, $180 off retail! At first I thought is was a misprint, but saw they are dumping them, first come, first serve. I don't know anything else about them, whether they are crummy forks or whatever, or why Performance is closing them out. If you think they will work for you, check it out.

I recently bought a Columbus Carve fork (similar to the Muscle with an alloy steerer) and have been really happy with it. I think they are worth the extra cost, because they have a very refined feel that you don't see in less expensive forks. They have the perfect blend of stiffness and silky road feel.
