|How much mileage can you squeeze out of one neighborhood?||Humma Hah|

|I'm working on a project to try to involve a few local bicycle owners in proper cycling. I'm planning to put on a "deci-brevet" series next spring, basically the mileages of a brevet series (200k, 300k, 400k ....) but divided by ten. So I'm working on laying out the first one, about 12.5 miles.
To keep it friendly and homey, I'm gonna try to do it within the city limits of Manassas, VA. Last night I squeezed 6.6 miles out of two adjoining neighborhoods, mostly from one, all lightly used residential streets, with no backtracking and the route does not cross itself.
Its not exciting riding, but I've ridden this neighborhood for a couple of decades and never squeezed so many miles out of it.
