Assos bib sizingnazgul

I think I am ready to try some Assos bibs for the first time. Now, I would usually use medium Pearl Izumis. The assos chart is height based and puts me in large bibs (I am 6'0"). On the other hand I am relatively skinny for my height (150lbs, 31" waist). Will the large assos be too wide? I am looking at the Assos Bib T shorts from totalcycling for $93, so if you have tried them, I would like to hear about it too.

I have a friend that is shorter and weighs about 150 and large is fine for him. Another friend got some of the FI 13 bibs from Assos and loves them. Sez they are the best he has ever had and he had some of the Assos Evo shorts already.

I almost prefer the Bib T shorts to the top of the line Assos. Assos are great shorts. I haven't worn anything since finding them at totalcycling. Don't know about the sizing, though. I am a fat short guy, so any comparison wouldn't be valid, but I wear the large(I'm 5'10") and haven't had any problems(I normally wear an extra large in other shorts).

I am almost 6' (5'11 3/4" to be exact) and 162 pounds with a 33 inch waist. The large shorts fit me very well. My guess is that the large will not be too wide for you -- I would worry that the mediums would be too short. I have two pairs of the Campionissimo bibs and think that they are great. I am thinking about buying the new Fl.13s.

I just got a pair of FI-13s from these guys. Real good deal plus a free bonus. The best bibs ever! You don't even feel them.
