I gotta go with the huge guy on the right. He's the only one wearing bike shoes and gloves. Looks like he brought his own Ti bike, too. Everyone else seems to be on Aluminum Litespeeds.
I have to confess, I dont know who won. (nm)onespeed

I've never heard of him but he's an Olympic Silver medalist of some kind. I saw a press release that said Keith Hernandez, two Olympians, and a Nobel Prize winner. Sounds like one of those superhero "Super Friends" groups to me.

Nelson Vails is correct. He appeared in "Quick Silver"(the 1980's bike messenger movie starring kevin bacon) for all you bike cult followers out there. He was also one the more popular cyclists of the eighties, appearing on the cover of sports illustrated. He is still very involved in the sport and actually hosted a prime time tv show on track cycling last summer(on lehigh valley network) at T-town. He also is a real nice guy from what I hear.

why do you always post such HUGE pictures?(nm)pukka

Is this bad? I just want to give detail. (nm)onespeed
Aug 13, 2002 9:03 AM
It helps to see the detail if you don't have tooJL

scroll around. Try to use a smaller picture size that doesn't go off the page so much. I think I've seen people recommend no wider than 650 pixels and no taller than 450. It gives a decent size and detail without having to scroll so much.

Give it a try.

Happy riding.
