Bike lust has finally ended!!(for now)bnlkid

After putting almost 200 miles on the Serotta Legend Ti that arrived on Wednesday, I can finally say I do not lust after another bike. I ordered Legend on 7/2 and received 8/6. I do not have a picture yet, but will post one soon. I have the compact geometry and had then build extra stiff. This bike is amazing. I thought I might be a little disappointed because I had heard that Ti was flexy. This bike is stiffer than the Giant TCR 0. Absolutely no flex. It climbs better than anything I have(TCR0, CSI) and desends better. I don't have a desire to ride any of the other bikes right now, and am contemplating selling the Giant. Words cannot really describe the feeling of the ride. Stiff and comfortable. That is a hard combination to make for a 200lb. rider. Thanks go to grzy for leading me in the right direction. This bike is perfect for me.

I haven't wanted another bike since getting my C-40 18 months ago. Its kinda wierd after so many years of always lusting after this and that.

Sooner or later, I'll see something else.

When you've reached the pinnacle there's nothing higher to shoot for. Now you just have to hang on and enjoy it.

After purchasing my Specialized Allez last year (my first road bike) I was very satisfied with it. The $800 purchase was the biggest of my life to that day. Only a few days later though I desired just about every other bike. I realized I was at the bottom. Everytime I go to the bike shop I dream of purchasing any of the bikes they stock. I can't wait until I am in your shoes. I'm going to college soon so it will be at least four years before my next bike purchase. Don't worry though soon they will come out with something just a little better and then you will be back down closer to me dreaming of that bike.
