|I have size 13 feet, which barely fit into my Diadora 48's. Its starting to bother me because I have to keep my nails really short or else they crunch at the end. Does anyone have any suggestions for Look-compatible shoes that come in 49 and fit very narrow feet?|

|This comes up every few weeks--I wear size 50s (U.S. 15s), and it's always a hassle.
I just got a new (paper) catalog from Sierra Trading Post, and they list three or four mid- to low-line cycling shoes up to size 50. I didn't pay much attention, because I just got some new ones, but if you go to www.sierratradingpost.com, you can probably find them.
Other possibilities: Nike, Diadora and Sidi all make shoes to size 50 (52 for Sidi, but they're $180). You can't often find them, but occasionally Nashbar or Performance will list them--check every catalog, and once a year you'll luck out. Your bike shop theoretically can order them, but I've never been able to convince one to do it.
I bought two pairs of diadora elite road shoes (cheap, but big) and two pairs of Jalapeno MB shoes last time Nashbar had 'em. Total was about $200, which was much more than I wanted to spend, but you never know when you'll be able to get more. These should last me four or five years.
At size 13, you might be able to wear another brand of 48--that's not a huge foot anymore, and there's a range of sizes in shoes with the same number.

|like cory i'm a us 15 (49-50 depending on brand).
northwave shoes used to run big, i could almost get into a 48
I've had good luck with with diadora in a 49
sidi's are great, and as soon as i need another pair, i'm gonna get some, i even heard they have a narrower fit available know, but that might have been misinformation. anyway, the regular width are prety narrow. take care.

|Vittorias run fairly narrow and go up to 50. I don't have the URL anymore, but if you do a Google search, I think you'll find one place on the web that sells them. I've had good experience with them.
Sidis also go to 50, but I've found them to be much wider.

|i recently purchased a pair of 48 Sidi Genius 4s. For 2002, Sidi now makes a NARROW version of the Genius 4. Sure, it's expensive, but the shoe is high quality and will last for several years.|| |
