SPD-R cleat screws strip often...available in bulk?cabinfever

My SPD-R cleats will often loosen. I tighten the hell out of them, but usually have to check them every ride. The allen key hole in the head of the screw strips after a month of this or so. Not to the point where I can't remove it, but to the point that I can't tighten it enough. Anyone know what size screws these are, and if I can buy them in bulk anywhere? My LBS never has enough of them. I use a Shimano SHR 150 shoe and a Wellgo (Shimano SPD-R ripoff) WAM-R4 pedal.

It's either a 5mm X 10mm or a 5mm X 16mm stainless bolt with a countersunk head. Good luck.

Go to a LBSPODIUMBOUNDdotCA

Just go to a LBS that carries Shimano and ask for the part that is breaking. They should replace it most of the time no charge. I've had this happen a couple times with the actual plate that is in the show stripping.

Cheers,
Nick
