I'm in the market for a new saddle, and I realize that saddles are a very personal thing, but I'm still looking for a bit o' advice. I want something comfortable (I've been known to do the odd century here and there), but not too heavy. Thanks in advance for your valuable insights!

Hard to beat the Selle Italia Max Flite Ti. The one with the smooth leather and no logos.

Although I just installed a SLR yesterday and did a 42 mile ride. It was quite comfortable. It was a little slick though. When I was climbing and trying to stay forward on the saddle and keep the cadence up, I kept getting pushed back. I think it's just going to take a little getting used to.

Sorry I guess it doesn't have the word "Max" in the name. Try this http://pricepoint.com/product1188.html

The current versions have the logo, as does this one. I bought a blue one from SDeals a few months ago that was the old style without the logo.

Try the Terry Fly Ti, you'll love it.
