A friend of mine wants a computer to use while training. I know the astrdale is a rear wheel computer. Are there any others that are also rear wheel, and is also a multiple wheel size as not to mess up ride distance. She as Shimano componets so the campy is out.

Thanks
Matt

The Avocet 45 is rear wheel.

I have the cadence kit, so I'm not sure if the non-cadence is rear wheel as well.

I like the computer, but it seems to go through batteries pretty quick.

Check out my website at http://pod.ath.cx/

There's a link that details me running a Vetta VT55 from my rear wheel because my ultra-modern bladed carbon fork is designed to run really close to the wheel.

It shows how to wire it up and everything, with clickable thumbnails and full size pics.

So I also realized that this will work nicely when I get
a trainer for this winter and I can track my mileage just
like I do during the season.

It's a special version of the Vetta for BikeE recumbents.
If you don't mind the BikeE logo on the face of the 'puter
it works really nice.
