|but first off, all apologies to all that i seem to have offended yesterday with my question about why people buy expensive bikes. i am a simple man with somewhat simple pleasures but as one person put it, no i do not have "penis envy".
anyway, i rode to work for the first time today. it was a tid bit nipply out at 0500, but i gritted my teeth and rode on as i had no alternative with a car in the shop. going over the goldstar bridge proved to be not as windy as i expected but definitely more of a test of my acrophobia that i had hoped. all in all though, it was a great ride, only 10 miles one way. the best part i must say was riding on the road with almost no traffic. the ride home will be a bit more nerve racking.

|is great - is there a reason you can't ride every day?
after all what do you really need a car for?
seriously - my commute now is 10 miles each way - 30-45 minutes with a shower at either end - it beats the train (and driving) any day
where are you?

|Hey, congrats, mlester. Welcome to the world of substituting 3 cups of coffee with a nice 10 mile spin.|

|I still get those three cups of coffee, I just have to wait longer for them though.|| |
