For some reason there are no reviews of ANY of the Orbea bikes in the "Reviews" section. A friend has recommended that I look into them on my "never-ending quest for a bike that fits" and I'm trying to gather as much info as possible. Anyone have any good/bad experiences with the bike/company/performance?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Apparently no one owns an Orbea!hulksmash

I was just posting last week to any owners of Orbeas and got a weak response about the paint job from someone who test rode one. Super.

So how about it anyone? Does anyone have any opinion about them? Does anyone own one and found out they develop fissures down the headtube after 5 rides?

I personally was asking about the Xceler8R or Starship but at this point I'll take anything.

Peace.
No kidding.....I spoke to two local racers I know that rideATLien

Orbea's and they love 'em. One guy is 6'5 and rides a 62cm Starship, the other guy is about 5'9 and is on a XLR8R. Didn't get a chance to get much detail from them but they seemed to like the handling/weight ratio the best and neither had any problems with build quality.

There's gotta be somebody out there riding one, but I guess they're just not trendy enough in comparision to some of the other big names to have caught on yet.
Good....let's keep them a secrethulksmash

I hope that when I'm ready to buy one (soon) that they don't go up in price for gain of a more recognized name. They seem like a fantasic deal compared to the bigger names, and they come from an area that should know how to build bikes. I assume that those two guys were going too fast on their Orbeas to catcha word with.
