|I appreciate it a great deal, and will check out all the recomendations.
Thanks again, and please post anything else you might come up with between now and September if you like. I'll try to put it all on the itinerary. Maybe I'll post photos upon my return.

|Missed your first post cause I don't check in here very often anymore. You got some good info except on the Mexican food--by far the best burritos in town can be had at La Taqueria on Mission at 25th. I lived there for 8 years and would say the mtb riding is better than the road riding--more options, fewer cars. A lot of it is non-technical, though, so a cross bike would serve you well. I'd bring your own bike, buy the Mt. Tam bike map at any bike shop, and go for it. Have fun.|

|gtx, I have eaten at La Taqueria and it is good. You sound like you have never been to El Gordo, which is fabulously good. Also, La Corneta in Glen Park is really good. Just found that place in the last 2 months.
If you hit La Taqueria, get their steak burrito. It rocks.

|Oh, I don't think one can compare La Taqueria to any other taqueria in the city. La Taqueria has no rivals. And the meat to get is pork.|| |
